Shitfucker are one of the lesser known bands that feature guitarist Shagrat, primarily known for his work in Acid Witch, alongside drummer Motor City Chad and vocalist/bassist Demonbitch. The three member formation from Michigan began this project in 2005 and have released a fistful of demos and EPs to date, marking Suck Cocks in Hell their debut full-length release.

The material is completely raw, with minimal production boasting very dirty, low-grade audio that's comparable to many old underground demo tapes from the early 1980's. The ensuing result is crude distortion pervading the entire album, suiting the "no fucks given" punk attitude, sleeze and satanic themes of the material while highlighting the many flaws that lay within.

In this punk-meets-thrash-meets-speed arrangement of filthy metal the drums provide the only steady structure in the content with simple blast beats where the snares or toms are married with hi-hats, and little else; some tracks, such as "Demonic Rock", feature coupling bass kicks, but this is a rare incorporation. Despite the deteriorated audio quality, the bass can be heard clearly in most songs making quick work of fast fingered lines that keep in sync with the breakneck drum pace.

Raw, greasy and overcome with treble, Shagrat's guitar riffs are pretty catchy and fun to headbang along to. "Graveyard Revels" is a song compiled strictly of Venom worship, from the twangy guitar riffs to the vocals, and "Go to Hell" is a high velocity black speed hymn straight from Satan himself that's sure to get an ultra violent mosh pit started; the audience is also treated to a couple awesome drum and bass exclusive sections here. As an extra added fun fact for those who aren't too quick to realize, the eerie keyboard introductory track, "Satanisanity" is reversed for the last song on the album, "Ytinasinatans". Another fucked up, high flying trip of a track worthy of mention is "Acid Bath", which is about serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.

Complete with a light echo, the vocals change constantly from growls to shrieks to clean singing; basically whatever Demonbitch decides on a whim to belt out with no reason needed. Aside from the drums, there is no feature on this material that stays stagnant for any period of time; when the guitar finds a decent rhythm to wail on for a bit, the riffs change or Shagrat goes into an all out crazy solo. The bass also consistently switches its rhythm as it goes back and forth from following the guitar patterns to the drum beats. The tempo stays elevated for the larger portion of the content, although it does find slower variances within "I Am the Devil".

Not many bands would have the balls to release an album so unforgivably nasty in both subject matter and production, the thing is Shitfucker pull it off with their "fuck you" attitude. Suck Cocks in Hell is an enjoyable throwback to the days where speed and thrash metal were still infused with a heavy amount of punk ideals that pissed on everyone's expectations of metal, and this album does just that; it pisses on the flawless and overproduced manufactured content of the current era, and that's a wonderful thing.
